Chocolate theft!!!

A New Zealand woman has been released from police custody in Indonesia, after being detained over the theft of a chocolate bar. Well-known stand-up paddler Charlotte Piho, 30, was arrested on Tuesday at Bintang minimarket in Bali's upmarket seminyak. She admits putting up to $17 worth of chocolate into her bag as she strolled through the shop, and she says that she had intended to pay for it. The Auckland woman walked through the checkout aisle without paying!!! Even petty thefts like this are jailable offences. In her faters view she did not have enough money to survive as she had contacted them before the incident asking them to send her money. This makes me slightly suspicious of whether the theft was intensional.
